Meeting Recap (09/10/07)

Hey Everyone! I wanted to thank all of you for coming. I was especially appreciative of all the enthusiasm and great ideas. I feel like this semester is going to be great and I know we'll have a lot of fun while doing our community outreach. We had some really good ideas today. Some of the things we discussed included: trips and weekend activities for this semester (Wetlands Education Center in Port Aransas, Kids' Conservation Camp, End of semester conservation trip/vacation(will be on or near the ocean), Making movies of or group's activities, Movie night (which will be this month, t-shirts...I am getting quotes this week! We also met new officers and had open positions filled...thanks ;)! Our current officers are listed below along with their emails in case you need anything or have any suggestions:

We still have the position of Treasurer open...technically. Anyway, so for next week, we will be hearing ideas from the group on outreach issues as well as our volunteer opportunities and will be voting on a movie night. We will also be discussing logisitics of the Kids Camp and hearing ideas about videotaping...and finalizing all details brought up earlier. Ok, please email if you have any questions or if you are interested in the Treasurer position. Dues are $10/semester...please bring that in ASAP...hopefully it will cover our t-shirts; I will let you know the final pricing. Have a great week and I'll see everyone next Monday.
