First S.A.F.E.Oceans Meeting

Hello Everyone! We will be having our first meeting of the semester this coming Monday, Jan. 29th at 6pm. We will be discussing our strategy for the spring, potential field trips and also issues we want to focus on. We would also like to welcome any new members that have joined and tell them a little bit about our group. This semester is going to be very successful and I'm looking forward to seeing you all again next week. See below for meeting details.

When: Monday, Jan. 29th
Time: 6-7:00pm...we will probably be done by 6:30 though.
Where: The Union Rm. 3.116 TX Governors Rm

Welcome Back S.A.F.E.Oceans!!

Hello Everyone, I hope you all had a great winter break. I definitely can say that mine was worthwhile. I got to go on a 7 day cruise to the Caribbean where we saw all kinds of animals on our snorkeling and scuba diving trips...a much needed vacation. Anyway, I wanted to welcome you all back and hope that everyone is excited about this semester. I feel that this semester will be very successful for our group and we will begin having our weekly meetings on Jan. 29th. I am booking rooms and times right now. Most likely, the time will be Mondays from 6-7pm...I am not sure on the room yet; I will let everyone know as soon as it is confirmed. We thought of a few new ideas for this semester and will be discussing them with everyone at the first meeting. Attention all officers: please try to make it to our first meeting, there is a lot we need to discuss...if you can not make it, please email me so we can work out a different time: oceanadventurer@mail.utexas.edu
Our first meeting will consist of a meet and greet and introduction for new members. I will be updating this website next week to inform everyone of the meeting place and official time...in the meantime, check out the movie I made about our group...hopefully we can do more like this for our conservation issues.
